KIM BEGINS YOUR PAINTING

Working in her detailed, realistic style, Kim carefully brings your horse to life on canvas. Every brushstroke reflects years of experience and a deep understanding of equine anatomy.

APPROVE & RECEIVE YOUR ARTWORK

Once complete, your portrait is carefully varnished, framed (if desired), and prepared for insured worldwide shipping. A timeless keepsake arrives safely at your door.

Commissions are typically booked 6–12 months in advance. Availability depends on Kim’s current schedule, and booking windows can fill quickly. The page will always reflect the current booking timeframe.

Your artwork will arrive on a gallery-wrapped canvas, professionally stretched over metal stretcher bars. This allows collectors to choose a frame that best suits their space and style.

Yes. Framing is available directly through Kim Penner for an additional cost.

Framing is optional and discussed after your commission is confirmed. Because framed artwork requires special packaging and handling, framing and any additional shipping costs are the responsibility of the collector.

Yes. Your horse can be painted in a meaningful or custom setting, such as a pasture, ranch, or landscape. These details are discussed early in the process to ensure the final piece reflects your vision.

You’ll have the opportunity to review the composition during the planning stage. Minor refinements are part of the process, but once the painting is well underway, significant changes are limited.
